The Adventures of Peter and Louise

Winners again.  In the Halloween quiz.

Winners of the latest quiz are the fools with our help.

Dentist appointment for Peter - check.  One filling to be mended.  Stump removed from garden - check.  Who knew such a little plant would be so difficult to dig out.  Plants bought - turkish delight hebes.

Black Caps cheered to victory.  Golf course tamed.  Driving around without crashing.

Louise has won $100 from The Inter Islander line.  Two of her photos are in the latest magazine.

Isn't she great.  Well I think so.

We have all sorts of flowers in bloom around the house.  Some sort of bluebell and dogwood rose on the side and a white camelia out the back.  I have much more chopping and sweeping up to do.

But the good news is that the insulation is ready and the installer should be coming round next week.

We went up into Khandallah park on Sunday after doing some gardening chores.  Peter's golf game was frosted out :-( so we hiked up the hill to take pictures.  We also had brunch at the Cafe du Parc on Saturday.

And in another piece of outstanding and astonishing news, Peter was named player of the season for the Goldenrods football team.  Don't know how that happened.  Scored 1 goal in the season and that one was an own goal.

The goldenrods finished their impressive season with a 5-5 draw with one of the top ranked (and dirtiest) teams in div 15.  Missing from this photo are regular team sqaud members hairy Jon, Shane, Lieutenant Mark and Sam Brodie.  There were comebacks and knockout (literal knockouts for Brownie) a broken leg for Jared (on the far right).

Look who turned up at our house.  Here is mama Williams marvelling at our house.  Its the first time she has seen it.  Papa Williams with his new found hair also had a look outside and agreed - there is potential in the garden.
